There’s one really good way to see if an adventure like the one Roaring Camp Mining offers is worth taking. See what others who already came here think.

Check out the reviews Trip Advisor users give us. There our 47 reviews. Forty-one of them give us the highest rating available: Excellent (5 out of 5). The other six reviews all rank us as Very Good (4 out of 5). We haven’t seen a single 3, 2, or 1 yet.

Visitors like to highlight how we combine rustic adventure with clean, modern amenities. You can step back and forth between the wilderness, outdoor hiking, swimming, and climbing, and still have access to home-cooked food and fast internet at the end of the day. If you’ve got a large group, some can cook out by the fire while others rest inside and watch Netflix after a day of hiking and swimming. It’s the best of all worlds, surrounded by the relaxation of nature.

Google Reviews and Yelp are used more often for coffee shops and restaurants than for wild getaways, so we don’t have as many reviews on these sites, but we’re still averaging a 4.9 out of 5 on Google and a 4.5 out of 5 on Yelp.

We’re very proud of all these numbers, and many visitors highlight that they found gold while digging or panning. Roaring Camp is still an actively mined area, and we’ll show you how to do each of these things, whether you’re looking to seriously get into the trade or just want to learn with your kids how it’s done. Check out all the activities we have to offer!
