Camping can be a wonderful experience, regardless of where you go and who you are with. But, pack up the right group of people, and the right collection of gadgets, and you will have the time of your life.
There are so many camping gadgets available on the market today. Some are well worth their expense and can really improve the outdoor experience. Others aren’t going to be what you want them to be. This list is one that we have accumulated based on some of the cool, and worthwhile gadgets that we have seen at Roaring Camp Gold.
The Cinch Tent If you enjoy camping in a tent, but hate the process of assembling your sleeping quarters, then you will love this. We watched as one camper set the tent up. Less than five minutes to pop it open and stake it down. But, we were most impressed with the solar power pack. That means that your tent has electric, as well as LED lighting inside and outside.
Waterproof Down Blanket There are a few manufacturers that do this well, and the blankets are wonderful for camping. Use it as a cover wet surfaces in the morning, so your bum stays nice and dry. An added benefit is that fact that they roll up so small that they are extremely portable.
Body Wipes We had a good chuckle the first time we saw these. Picture a giant, towel-sized baby wipe. It sounds and looks humorous, but it genuinely genius. For the campers that don’t have time (or access to a) shower, these wipes make it possible to wipe away the sweat and grime.
Portable Coffee Maker (no electricity needed) The battery powered coffee maker features a grinder, drip filter technology, and when the Cup o’ Joe is complete, its already in travel mug.
The Portable Washing Machine Again, camping doesn’t leave a lot of room for cleanliness, and you have to pack light, but that doesn’t mean that you have to re-wear yesterday’s sweat. The portable washing machine allows you to clean an outfit or two without need for electricity.
